Grandmaster Bernardo Fabia Salinas is the successor of his family system. He has been teaching this system of Sencatan Arnis, a true living treasure of the Philippine martial arts, and other martial arts for more than 20 years. Grandmaster Salinas has conducted seminars in the combative art of Sencatan Arnis throughout Canada and the United States. He has passed his knowledge on to dedicated students and practitioners throughout the world. In the past, Grandmaster Salinas has instructed RCMP Law Enforcement, and Auxiliary Forces in Fort St. John, BC, Canada. His expertise includes training in the Philippines, Japan, and Canada in a variety of martial arts.

Grandmaster Bernardo Fabia Salinas is a fourth time honoree in the International Martial Arts Hall of Fame. Recognized by the International Assembly of Sokeship, Founders & Headmasters, in the year 2002 he was inducted into the Hawaii Martial Arts International Society Hall of Fame and was awarded the title of Grandmaster.  He founded the Northern Tiger Shotokan Karate Association Canada, the Society of Federated Martial Art International and the Sencatan Arnis International.
